Kathy Pollard, MS has since 2011 served as online instructor for the renowned T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies, offering the plant-based nutrition certificate course through eCornell.  She holds an MS degree with honors in Applied Clinical Nutrition from New York Chiropractic College, and a Bachelors degree in Mass Communications from the University of California, Berkeley.

Kathy was a member of the original Board of Directors for Plant-based Prevention Of Disease, Inc. and continues her service and guidance as the organization grows.  She has lectured about the health-promoting power of plant-based nutrition at numerous professional conferences and public events.  She was also a recipient of the Wellness Forum Founder’s Award.

Kathy has recently collaborated with Micaela Karlsen, MSPH, a doctoral fellow in Epidemiology at Tufts University, in producing an online support resource for transitioning to and maintaining a whole food plant-based diet and lifestyle.  Their websites, ThePlantBasedLife.com and HabitsOfHealth.support, provide transition guides, recipes, articles and referrals with the aim of transforming increasing numbers of lives in this way.
